The number of family members caring for children in Israel today is about one and a half million men and women. Most of them not only feel alone in the campaign, but lack the knowledge and training to perform the important role they have assumed, sometimes they don't even know how to recognize the role and this certainly does not make the situation any easier. Teva took it upon herself to help the caregiver family members and for this purpose established the Doagim Community for Caregivers on Facebook, and the Doagim Complex for Caregivers. Knowledge, sharing and support are a driving force that can make dealing easier and that's exactly what we're here for.

We have collected five tips for you that can help in this challenging period:

Tip #1

Most of the caring family members testify to a feeling of loneliness and the difficulty of fulfilling all the tasks - our first tip will help identify sources of support, some of them right under your nose.


Tip #2

Caring family members dedicate hours a week to take care of a loved one in addition to work, family and routine. Despite the challenging tasks and the need for more hours in the day, they find time for everything and everyone. There's just one thing that usually gets pushed aside, but it's the number one cause of job burnout. What do family caregivers forget and how do you avoid it?


Tip #3

You know how to tell everyone that it is important to see a doctor, that pain must be monitored, that it is always better to see a doctor because an early diagnosis helps in any situation. And what about you? This is exactly what our third tip is about. Take a moment - it saves lives and in the case of a caring family member, at least two.


Tip #4

You know the feeling that you could have done more, or maybe acted better? Most family caregivers feel this way more than once. What do you do with the guilt? We have something important to tell you on the subject - tip number four for caring family members.


Tip #5

Our fifth tip for caring family members is intended to remind the most important thing, the secret that allows caring family members to get up every morning with renewed strength and face another day at work. We know how much energy needs to be mobilized just for this. That's why we are here to mention some important things so that you will always be at your best
